Fresh 48 sessions are documentary sessions that typically take place within 48 hours of your baby’s arrival and usually take place in your place of birth (home, hospital, or birthing center). They can also happen once you’ve arrived back home with your baby. I require a 24 hour notice for scheduling purposes. They’re perfect for families who want the documentary look of birth photos within those first few hours or days, but without the labor & birth being photographed.
Photographing Fresh 48 Hospital Sessions are so incredible to me because I get to document your baby while they’re brand new! I don’t take that lightly. When I come back and do an in-home session with a Fresh 48 baby, I marvel at just how much they’ve changed in such a short amount of time. Life is constantly unfolding in front of us, but sometimes it’s hard to see when you’re in the thick of it. Documenting these moments, and then looking back after the days of sleep-deprived nights are past, you’ll really be in awe of just what you have done. Parenthood is the start of an intense and fabulous adventure.

The creative fee includes a 1.5-hour session either in the hospital or in your home within the first 2 days of your baby’s life, 4x6 proofs, along with an online watermarked gallery for viewing & ordering, pre-session planning appointment and design appointment.
All prints and products are sold separately. Archival prints include the corresponding low-res digital file with purchase. Digital files are not included in the session fee.
