What’s It Like to Work With Me?
For starters, we’ll have a blast at your session. But I’ll take care of you and answer all of your questions before that and well after your products are delivered. I’m here to guide you, not just during your session. I’m here for you from start to finish. I’ll help you choose a location (if necessary), what to wear, gently direct you during your session, guide you in your ordering appointment, design custom artwork/albums and help you choose photo framing/wall hangings.

I’ll help you! What kind of display do you want after your session? I’ll help you! Your husband hates photos? I’ll help you! You’re “not photogenic?” I’ll help you!
Pretty, posed photos where all eyes are on the camera and everyone is smiling? Sure, they’re great and I take those too. But the moments that pull at my heartstrings are often the in-between photos where you think I’m not photographing anymore. You’re relaxed and laughing. We’ll play games and I’ll be silly to make you comfortable.
Photos should be fun, not stressful!
I strive to make each photo session unique and most importantly - FUN! When you’re stressed, it will show in photos and no one wants to remember that. Kids melting down? We’ll roll with it and let them melt for a moment! Dog chasing after that ever-loving squirrel that’s been taunting them all morning? It’s ok! I’ve found that the best way to roll with life’s punches is to just let them happen. I’ll document it and you’ll laugh later! No sense in stressing over what we can’t control, right? Then we’ll get past it and make some more magic. If you’re into dance parties, family pillow fights, kitchen coffee snuggles and everyday life - we should work together!
Professional Photos Are an Investment & Should be Displayed
When you invest in professional photos, you’re investing in your memories, your family and yourself. Photos are meant to be displayed and shared, not hiding away on a computer, phone, hard drive or obsolete CD. In your consultation, we’ll discuss what kinds of photos you’re looking for and what you’ll hope to do with them. After your session, we’ll have an ordering appointment and I’ll help guide you on which products would be best for your lifestyle & home. At your ordering appointment, you’ll select the images from your session that you’d like for your files and any additional prints or albums you’d like. Print, album and wall art purchases aren’t required but highly encouraged. Professional printing, which I do, is no match for discount printers.
