Their love is so raw and real and you can see it in the way they sneak glances at each other, or hold on tight during dances like there is no one else in the world. I love their love. 50 Year Anniversary Session in Chicago - Art Institute

Ted and Jane were in town from Florida celebrating their 50th anniversary recently. We took some photos in Roscoe Village and then headed to the Chicago Art Institute Gardens for a few more photos. I love the photos of the two of them laughing together so much. It makes my heart dance! 50 years, and still making each other laugh, is such an accomplishment. I love love, and I love that I get to document such amazing moments. 

Liz & Tony - Engaged in Chicago

Liz & Tony booked their wedding with me in the thick of winter, which means cold and grey. We took their original engagement photos back in late February with the intention of taking a few more once the weather warmed up. That finally happened! We met up at Welles Park in Lincoln Square for some hot portraits. And I mean hot! It was so steamy compared to their first session and it even rained for about 3 minutes with no warning. But the light was beautiful, the rain was pretty and it gave us a little rainbow too. Aren't they just stunning?!

Their wedding is just a few short weeks away and I'm so excited for them!
